Recently the academic repository website "Osaka University Knowledge Archive" (OUKA) launched the PDF files of モンゴル国現存遺蹟・碑文調査研究報告 "Provisional Report of Researches on Historical Sites and Inscriptions in Mongolia from 1996 to 1998" (Toyonaka, 1999), a fruit of the Japan-Mongol joint research project conducted by Prof. Takao Moriyasu and Prof. Ayudai Ochir.

The volume is divided into three files (4.7MB, 3.8MB, 4.6MB each).
The report was published just after the liberalization of Mongolia, and provided with a lot of brand-new information and decipherments at the time for the Old-Turkic, Sogdian, Mongolian and Chinese inscriptions remaining in Mongolia.
The volume has been out of stock in the bookstores and it has been most difficult even to obtain the used copy.
I got this information from Dr. Kosetsu Suzuki (Waseda Univ.), who is now collaborating with Prof. Takashi Osawa (Osaka Univ.) to publish the report of "Bichees II", the succeeding research project on the Old Turkic monuments in Mongolia. According to him, the publication will be available in booksellers in the beginning of the next year (see his comment on the previous post).
P.S. According to Dr. Suzuki's website, the "Bichees II" volume has been already published in Mongolia: 大澤 孝・鈴木宏節・R.
